    When I met Chelsea I said to myself, "That girl is going to change the world." I still feel the same way [two years later]. I met her when I was volunteering for flood relief from Tropical Storm Fred. I went on to be hired as a case manager with the Methodist Conference. I could not have done that without Chelsea! She had everything organized and running like a well oiled machine when I first got there.     Many activists volunteered for the large, powerful, multi-layered Civil Disobedience protest for the Campaign on Poverty that Chelsea White organized. The event lasted many hours--from the morning we boarded a huge Canton NC bus for Raleigh NC--until we were released from the Wake County Jail just after Midnight the next morning. The charge was trespassing on government property. We'd actually been arrested for refusing to stop singing in the halls of the NCGA (The Peoples' House). Her attention to detail and provision of all props made the day move seamlessly. Thank you, Chelsea!
